Jump Rope for Heart

On Tuesday 8th June all children at Mt Eliza Primary School participated in a Jump Off Day to raise awareness of the benefits of exercise on the heart.  Children dressed in red and wore hearts to promote the day.  They participated in a range of skipping activities and raised money for the National Heart Foundation.  It has been terrific to see the enthusiasm and skill development through participating in this event throughout the term.

We now have created a Skipping Craze throughout the school with children and teachers skipping together during recess and lunchtime!  A great fitness activity!!
